Bartley Green & Northfield Café and Community Fridge 

WHAT WE DO

 Here at BGN Cafè and Community Fridge our goal is to help struggling people in our local community by providing a safe space for them to come and provide free food and drink (on certain days) to provide hot meals for anyone who walks in the door. We open our community fridge every tuesday and thursday (see opening times bellow) where people can come and colect a maximum of nine items without any referal needed. We also provide animal food for cats, dogs, and even birds!
We also help to reduce food waste and carbon admisions in an effort to help the local environments. In 2025 we have collected a total of 17882 kg of food that would have been wasted or gone to landfill. We have also stopped over 51000kg of carbon admissions entering the atmosphere this year which is a huge success.

Sunday 1200-1400

Community Fridge is open on a tuesday and thursday from 0945-1030

The warm welcome space is open monday/tuesday/friday from 1200-1300

Free hot meals available on a friday from 1300-1400
